Creating strategies that bring together compelling and hard-to-access opportunities across the alternative investment spectrum
Alternative investment strategies, such as hedge funds, may provide investors with valuable sources of potential return, powerful portfolio diversification and effective ways to manage downside risk.
Through our dedicated Alternative Investment Strategies capability, we seek to provide our clients with the most compelling opportunities that the asset class can offer to help meet their investment goals.
Using our global research platform and network of industry relationships, we are able to connect with hard-to-access managers and strategies. Through disciplined portfolio construction, we aim to combine best-in-class opportunities to target each client’s precise needs for return, volatility management and liquidity.
The Alternative Investment Strategies team has been harnessing the potential of alternatives on behalf of clients for more than 20 years. Based in New York and London, the group covers the global universe of strategies and managers, conducting thousands of manager calls, meetings and visits every year.
Solutions can be delivered as customized portfolios, managed accounts, commingled funds and/or liquid fund structures. Or we can act as a strategic partner, providing research and due diligence to support a client’s own process.
We also manage our own range of alternative risk premia strategies, designed to provide exposure to many of the factors identified in hedge funds, but in a more transparent, liquid and cost-efficient way.
