Tony Foster

Tony Foster is a senior investment manager in the Diversified Multi-Asset team. Tony joined Aberdeen Standard Investments as a result of the merger between Aberdeen Asset Management and Standard Life in August 2017. Tony joined Aberdeen following the SWIP acquisition in April 2014. At SWIP, he managed a number of UK equity portfolios and also the Halifax Fund of Investment Trusts OEIC. Prior to joining SWIP in 2000, Tony spent nearly 12 years with Baillie Gifford working in the UK and Asia Pacific equity teams. His portfolio management responsibilities included a number of investment trusts.

Tony graduated with a BA(Hons) in Metallurgy, Economics and Management from the University of Oxford and is an Associate of the UK Society of Investment Professionals.

Thomas Moore

Thomas is Senior Investment Director in the UK Equities team of Aberdeen Standard Investments. Within his role, Thomas’ responsibilities include managing the UK Equity Income Unconstrained Fund and Aberdeen Standard Equity Income Trust. He is also responsible for analysing the Financial Services sector. Thomas joined the UK Equity Team of Standard Life Investments in 2002. Previously Thomas began his career in 1998 at Schroders in UK Equities.

Thomas holds a BA and is an Associate of the CFA Society of the UK

Roger Webb

Roger Webb is a Senior Investment Manager on the Pan-European Credit team at Aberdeen Standard Investments. Roger is responsible for a number of wholesale bond offerings which incorporate investment grade funds managed against a variety of index benchmarks as well as unconstrained bond asset allocation funds. Roger joined Aberdeen Asset Management following the acquisition of the SWIP business in April 2014.

Roger joined SWIP in 2009 and has extensive experience in the bond market and specifically all areas of the UK and European credit markets. He joined the investment industry in 1985 when he began a lengthy career at Norwich Union’s investment management division. He was appointed head of credit portfolio management in 2007 with responsibility for the firm’s active corporate bond portfolios in the UK. Roger holds the UK Society of Investment Professionals (UKSIP) associateship.

Sarah Norris

Sarah Norris

Sarah provides research coverage of the European Healthcare Equipment & Services and Software & Computer Services sectors, contributing investment ideas to the wider team and participating in peer review discussions. She is the lead portfolio manager on the European Ethical Equity Fund and co-portfolio manager on the Global Equity Impact Fund.

Sarah joined Standard Life Investments (now Aberdeen Standard Investments) in 2011 as a member of the European Equity Team. Sarah previously worked at Referendum Ready, a non-profit campaign that partnered with the Government of Southern Sudan Mission prior to independence. She continues to work with Impact Sudan, a non-profit organisation based in the US that supports education and community development projects in South Sudan. Sarah has 7 years’ experience at both a firm and industry level.

Sarah has an MA (Hons) in International Relations and MLitt Peace and Conflict Studies, both from St Andrews University.

Elizabeth Meyer

Elizabeth Meyer

Elizabeth Meyer is an Analyst in the Stewardship & ESG Investment Team and is responsible for promoting the integration of environmental and social considerations in the investment process. She provides thematic, sector and asset level analysis, with a focus on human rights and impact investing strategies.

 

Elizabeth joined the firm in 2013 after working in research and communications roles across a range of sectors, including legal services and utilities. Her academic qualifications include an MSc from the University of Edinburgh, the CFA’s Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and passing the level 1 exam of the CFA Program. She is also currently undertaking a Master of Laws (LLM).

Stephanie Kelly

Stephanie Kelly

Stephanie Kelly is the Senior Political Economist at Aberdeen Standard Investments Research Institute. She leads the politics, policy and ESG research stream for the Institute, specialising in US, European and UK political and policy analysis. Stephanie is responsible for the construction of the ASI political risk framework and scenario process, as well as the ASI global ESG index. She is also a regular commentator on the implications of political risk for investors in print media and television. Stephanie sits on the CFA UK Scotland Committee and the co-founded the CFA Gender Diversity Network Scotland.

Stephanie holds a BA(Hons) in Economics and Politics and an MSc in International Politics from Trinity College Dublin, with research experience from Sciences Po, Paris and the University of British Columbia. Stephanie joined Standard Life Investments in 2014.
