Real Estate Investment Specialist

Euan is a Real Estate Investment Specialist within the Global Investment Specialist Team, co-ordinating between the real estate investment teams and global sales and marketing teams at Aberdeen Standard Investments. He joined Standard Life Investments in 2008 from Baillie Gifford.

Euan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics from Heriot Watt University in 2005 and completed his Chartered Financial Analyst exams in June 2014.

Senior Investment Manager

Robert Bowie is a Senior Investment Manager in the Multi-Manager Team at Aberdeen Standard Investments. Rob joined Aberdeen Asset Management in 2009 following the acquisition of certain asset management businesses from Credit Suisse Asset Management. Rob joined Credit Suisse in 2005 and worked in the Private Banking Portfolio Management Team before joining the Multi Manager team in March 2007. Prior to joining Credit Suisse Rob worked at Artemis Premier Funds, ABN AMRO and Singer & Friedlander.

Rob graduated with B.Eng (Hons) Engineering with Business Studies from Queen Mary College, University of London.

Investment Director

Abby Glennie is an Investment Director at Aberdeen Standard Investments. She is responsible for the UK Opportunities Fund, Aberdeen Smaller Companies Income Trust, and Smaller Companies Pension Fund. She joined Standard Life Investments in 2013 from Kames Capital where she was an Investment Analyst.

Abby graduated with a joint 1st MA, in Economics and Finance from University of Aberdeen and is a CFA charterholder.

Stephanie is the Senior Political Economist for the Multi-Asset Investment team at Standard Life Investments. Her areas of coverage include UK, European and US political and policy analysis. She holds a BA (Hons) in Economics and Politics and an MSc in International Politics from Trinity College Dublin with research experience from IEP (Institut d’Etudes Politique) Paris and the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Stephanie Kelly joined Standard Life Investments in 2014, working as the Global Strategy Analyst in the Multi-Asset Investment team.

Mark is currently the analyst for UK All Companies and UK Smallers, Absolute Return Fixed Income, Index Linked sectors amongst others including Strategic Bond and Commodities in the Multi-Manager Strategies team, who manage the MyFolio funds. He is also the Co-Manager of the Standard Life Investments Dynamic Distribution fund. Prior to joining Standard Life Investments in 2014, Mark started his career at Bestinvest Brokers and during this time he was the primary analyst for UK Income, Japanese Equities, European Equities, Commodities, VCTs and was part of a team which managed Multi Asset and MPS portfolios. Mark has an MA from Trinity College Dublin in History and is a CFA Charterholder.

Senior Investment Specialist

Ross is the senior investment specialist for the Aberdeen Standard Investments' equity fund range, and is responsible for the commercialisation and development of the equity asset class. He works alongside the equity investment team and his primary role is to ensure that clients and consultants have clarity on the philosophy, process and investment positioning of this growing asset class. By understanding the changing needs of different groups of investors, he is responsible for developing new equity strategies and customised investment solutions for wholesale and institutional clients globally. He has recently been involved in the development of the global equity impact strategy. Ross joined Standard Life Investments in 2000, where he joined the Business Development team. Previously, Ross worked as the Head of Research at Scottish Life.

Chris is head of a global team of Multi-Asset Investment Specialists at Aberdeen Standard Investments. Chris’s team is responsible for the development and commercialisation of Multi-Asset solutions that address clients’ diverse needs, drawing on a broad array of the firm’s investment strengths to address challenging absolute return and liability driven mandates. Chris joined Standard Life in 1991, spending the first 13 years of his tenure as an actuary before becoming part of the Multi-Asset Investing team 2004 to help develop the Global Absolute Return Strategies fund and LDI strategies. Chris spent time in variety of international businesses over the last 20 years bringing a diverse international perspective to our investment solutions. Chris is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and graduated with a BSc in Physics from Durham University.

Roger Webb

Roger Webb

Deputy Head of Sterling IG and Aggregate

Roger Webb is Deputy Head of Sterling IG and Aggregate at Aberdeen Standard Investments. Roger is responsible for a number of wholesale bond offerings which incorporate investment grade funds managed against a variety of index benchmarks as well as unconstrained bond asset allocation funds. Roger joined Aberdeen following the acquisition of the SWIP business in April 2014. Roger joined SWIP in 2009 and has extensive experience in the bond market and specifically all areas of the UK and European credit markets. He joined the investment industry in 1985 when he began a lengthy career at Norwich Union’s investment management division. Roger began managing bond funds during a four-year spell at the insurance company’s Madrid based operations from 1992. On returning to the UK Roger worked initially in the UK government bond team before moving to the credit desk in 1998. During his time at Norwich Union/Morley/Aviva Investors Roger managed a variety of high yield and investment grade portfolios and was lead manager on most of the firm's funds wholesale funds as well as a number of institutional mandates. He was appointed head of credit portfolio management in 2007 with responsibility for the firm’s active corporate bond portfolios in the UK.
