Paul Diggle is a Senior Research Economist in the Aberdeen Standard Investments Research Institute. He undertakes top-down research in macroeconomics and across asset classes, regions and countries in order to generate investment insights. Paul joined Aberdeen Asset Management in 2015 from Capital Economics, where he sat on the US and UK economics desks. He started his career at Volterra Partners, where he developed credit risk models for retail banks under Basel II Pillar 1 regulations.
Paul graduated with an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) from the University of Oxford, and went on to gain an MSc in Economics from Birkbeck, University of London.
